BEASISWA S1 KE HONGKONG

Scholarships of HK$120,000 each per academic year will be awarded to successful applicants, covering tuition fee, hostel and other academic and living expenses. Each scholarship is offered on an annual renewable basis and is tenable for a period of up to 3 years, subject to continued outstanding academic performance. In 2009-10, the annual tuition fee is HK$70,000 and the hostel fee is HK$9,000 per year (excluding the summer term). Tuition fee for 2010-11 is HK$80,000 per year. Hostel fee for 2010-11 is under review.

* Students should have attained at a recognised post-secondary institution outside Hong Kong a qualification equivalent to the Admission Requirements of the University and students will be considered on an individual basis.

* Students may be required to gain a minimum of Grade C in English in the GCE O-Level or GCSE Examination or an equivalent public examination; or a TOEFL score of 213 in the computer-based test, or 550 in the paper-based test, or 79 in the internet-based test; or an IELTS overall band score of 5.5.

Selection Criteria

The scholarship will be awarded to a student who has good academic standing and a good track record in community services. For candidates of comparable academic merits, preference will be given to the candidate with better proven records of community services.

TERJEMAHAN
Beasiswa dari HK $ 120.000 per tahun ajaran masing-masing akan diberikan kepada pelamar yang berhasil, yang meliputi biaya kuliah, asrama dan akademis dan biaya hidup. Setiap beasiswa yang ditawarkan pada dasar terbarukan tahunan dan dapat dipertahankan untuk jangka waktu hingga 3 tahun, tergantung pada prestasi akademis yang luar biasa terus. Pada 2009-10, SPP tahunan adalah HK $ 70.000 dan biaya asrama HK $ 9000 per tahun (tidak termasuk istilah musim panas). SPP 2.010-11 adalah HK $ 80.000 per tahun. Biaya asrama 2.010-11 ini sedang dikaji.

Eligibility

* Siswa harus sudah mencapai pada pasca-sekolah menengah diakui lembaga di luar Hong Kong kualifikasi setara dengan Persyaratan Pendaftaran Universitas dan siswa akan dipertimbangkan secara individual.

* Siswa mungkin diperlukan untuk mendapatkan minimum Grade C dalam bahasa Inggris GCE O-Level atau GCSE Ujian atau yang setara pemeriksaan publik, atau skor TOEFL 213 di tes berbasis komputer, atau 550 dalam tes berbasis kertas , atau 79 di internet berbasis tes; atau keseluruhan IELTS band score 5.5.

Kriteria Seleksi

Beasiswa akan diberikan kepada seorang mahasiswa yang telah berdiri akademis yang baik dan track record yang baik dalam pelayanan masyarakat. Untuk calon yang sebanding jasa akademik, preferensi akan diberikan kepada calon dengan catatan terbukti lebih baik layanan komunitas.
